Tokai Collection For Sale due to "GAS" Over-spend

I am offering some of my Tokai's for sale if anyone is interested. I will try to get some pictures posted over the weekend. Please email me for details if anything interests you. They are briefly:

1983 Goldstar Sound with BLOCK Logo which I have never seen on a Goldy before. 3T Sunburst, Rosewood Veneer Board, V1 Pick ups, C-shape neck. Deluxe Tuners. Final Prospec Saddles. ?350 ono

1980(ish) Springy Sound with 7okai Logo. 2T Sunburst. Maple "V" Neck. U Pick ups. Tokai Tuners. Tokai Saddles. ?395 ovno

1984 Goldstar Sound with Tokai Logo. 2T Sunburst. Maple "V" Neck. U Pick ups. Deluxe Tuners. Final Prospec Saddles. ?395 ono

1981/1984 Breezy Sound. Natural Alder finished Body. Maple "V" Neck. 7okai Logo. Main issue with this Tele is that it is a 1981 "V" Neck mated to a 1984 Body, but is all genuine Tokai and the "V" Neck feels superb. Deluxe Tuners. Tokai 6-Saddle Bridge. ?350 ono

Hi Nick,

Any pics of the 1980(-ish) Springy?

- oh, and does the '83 Goldy with the veneer board have a "skunk stripe" down the back of the neck?
(seeems some do, some don't & I couldn't see from your eBay pics).

Good luck liquidating the GAS!

Hi Bill,
I will post some pics of the springy in the next few days.
I have put some extra pics of the Goldy on Ebay that detail the neck and body markings, and I have added the serial number. It does not have a Skunk stripe, I have noticed that only some of the earlier pre-1980 Strats have a Skunk and Rosewood fretboard. Although you can tell from the Headstock front view, if it had a skunk, there would be a walnut plug visible after the nut.

1983 Goldstar Sound now sold.

1984 Goldstar Sound and 1980/81 Springy Sound Still available, offers around ?395 each. Both have sought after "V" profile Necks.

On models below ST50, yes. As I understand it, ST-50 and above have the "Kluson" style made by Gotoh.

It has the Kluson Nickel Vintage Type "Tokai" marked Tuners fitted which dates it pre-1981, I believe. V neck also which I think would make it an ST-60 or above. I have been meaning to post some pics, but I have been trying to stop myself from selling it, but finances will not allow ! Will try to sort those pics out soon.

Well crap. I'm really interested, but it seems the US dollar has lost too much power, there's no way I can afford it. I know the price isn't that high in pounds, but in US dollars, that's about 770 dollars or so. I wish I could cut a deal with you or something, but I haven't really got anything good for trade, and it looks like you're just looking for money out of a deal anyway.
