Laquer/nitro finish throughout, no checking but some knocks here and there.
Original double-ring kluson tuners
Non-original bushings (nickel, came off a similar age Burny)
No neck breaks or issues.
Dark rosewood fretboard with fret-edge binding.
Original frets, 90% left in them.
Nice low action and no buzzing.
Neck is a classic chunky 59 profile, not a bat but fills the hand.
Original Gotoh pickups under covers.
Original bridge with brass saddles and tailpiece.
Original pots and caps, re-soldered to vintage '59 wiring.
Original jack, knobs, pickup selector and internal wiring.
Original lifton-style pink interior hard-shell case.
Pickguard is from a 1980 LS-50
