Always fancied a 335 (or similar), played a couple but never actually owned one, so have to admit I know very little about them (inc. Tokai versions), so really just have more questions than answers here, but ?? why does headstock have that rounded shape? If it?s Japanese, why the odd-shaped 3-screw truss-cover on 1989 model?(compare 95 catalogue which shows ES200 still with bell-shaped trc, & 2000 Cat. which shows switch to modern triangular 2-screw). Does it have an S/N, I don?t see one on the headstock pics? Why is headstock jointed? All the 335 types I?ve seen had a bare selector switch, ie without indicator ring (ie the bit that says Rhythm/Treble). Guitar itself looks beautiful & seller seems very fair in everything his advert says (inc. v.fair shipping costs) ... just not sure about the guitar, maybe it?s a special Japanese domestic model? ?or maybe some independent MIK product? :-?
