Nice example of LS80 Reborn (bound frets, double rings, impressed 80 etc.) http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=2384&item=7309847677&rd=1 ?. Not cheap, but? :-? .

In complete contrast to this one http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=38086&item=7309609909&rd=1

Nice LS80.

Just sold my LS80 Reborn to a member and the blonde 81' 335!

He's well chuffed with them and I'm happy they went to a very good home.

"Why?" I hear you ask Ian

Basically to fund the purchase of a 2000 Historic.

Whats' wrong with the LS100?

Hi Lee .... well just my unprofessional opinion & seller may be acting in good faith etc. etc. (discalimer) .... but I think almost everything is wrong with it, & don?t believe it?s LS100 at all.

All original id has been erased (fret nibs, impressed 100, replaced decal ?decal looks sloppy/wrong). Pcb in control cavity? Believe that was only used upto & inc. LS80. Brass nut, trc, pick-guard, knobs, switch-tip, jack plate, tuners (should be double ring), all non-original. If it?s not LS100 then SD pups are not original either. Almost nothing left except the wood lol! You can?t loose impressed 100 in refret (he seemed to think it was on metal fret) .

Which Historic are you buying? It'd better be good after losing LS80 Reborn and 81 335 :-? .
