Hmm, this is weird, there are no Goldstar Sound tele's. I would guess this is a fake, the only other explanation is that somebody put the wrong logo on the guitar at the factory. It might be possible, the japanese ATE's have a 7,25" radius and this one has a flatter radius which means it's probably Korean. I don't think Tokai in Japan would make a mistake like this but the koreans might.

Have a close look at the fretboard by the nut, it looks like a laminate, maple on top of maple. Very strange indeed.
 
I thought the new Korean copies were labelled Goldstar. I had one for a few months then upgraded to a Japanese breezysound but I'm sure the Korean '52 reissue was a Goldstar
