Koiz has knocked out some expensive **** over the years, but whoever did this to this LS150 needs beating senseless with a brick

"Players condition"

A good luthier could make that disappear, but that asking price is steeper than a mountain goat's loft ladder.

Of course, when you're a dealer in old guitars, you have little choice but to over-price. Can't make any more of them, and each one that passes through your hands is a one-off opportunity for maximum mark-up. It's business.

At least put a dark brown jack plate on it to make it less noticeable. that would be an easy facelift.

i gather koiz is a dealer to steer clear of from what you are saying?

I'd say Koiz is an aficionado, a very funny guy and a businessman.

I have looked at this butchered Tokai many times before.

And I don't know how many times I hated my LP when I put it in the stand with the cable plugged in. But why the square thing? Just the jack, like on an ES, would have done it.

If the Phantom had this guitar, he would make the jack go away, permanently!

People have been known to do strange things to guitars. I found a nice 1980 LS80 that someone converted. Too bad.

I know Satoshi is a member here, maybe he will see this. Pretty sure he has his listing wrong for this one as it meets the EG-900 specs for the year.
