Can anyone help identify this model:

(It's not me selling it.)

Cheers

lol i inquired about this axe and i got a nice phone call back from the guy, who seems like a nice guy and all, but i think he wanted $ 1200 for it, when he said that number i couldn't even speak, i was dumbfounded, and he was nice enough to call me back in person so i held back my laughter so as not to be a douchebag until i got off the phone with him, it was hard though, he was throwing out numbers like $1800 for one off ebay and such. Hell the only Tokai part of that guitar might be the neck. Theres a springy sound (45) model on ebay right now with a BIN of $449 so either he's hoping to land a big sucker, or he has a problem huffing glue.

I've never seen a long truss rod infill like that on tokai strats but i have seen it on cheap squier affinity strats wonder if thats genuine or has he been handy with the woodfiller and stain? what does anyone else think....or am i barking up the wrong guitar neck

heres a genuine 1970s tokai see the difference

Yeah but the headstock on my guaranteed to be 1980 springy is identicl far s I can see.

Still trying to learn - how DO you differentiate between the 70's and the 1980 Springy headstocks? Is there some crucial thing to look for?
