Been looking at this baby:

In case the auction has expired, it's an ebony Neo Select Les Paul with P90s. Chances are that it will be relisted since it's a "buy-it-now" auction. From what I've read on this forum, "Neo Select" is a high-quality line, but still I'd like your advice whether this seems like a good price to you or not. I'm seriously tempted because I've been thinking about getting a P90 guitar. What's holding me back though is that I have a 136SEB Love Rock on order, also ebony. Convince me it's a steal at this price and that I should buy it!

**** GAS!!! It got relisted and I feel my resolve weakening.

Can anyone tell me where this would sit in the current line? More like LS160 or LS92?

It's still there, price first down to 76k then 74k and the seller added the model number: LS-117S-CM.

Ring a bell with anyone? My first thought was this might have been today's 160 series from around a decade ago, but I couldn't find anything in that range in the catalogs on the Registry.

I still think it's a very nice guitar but I'm resisting the GAS. I've been out of control buying guitars lately, and if I buy a P90 guitar I'd rather have an SG or LP Special. That's not to say it ain't **** tempting. :-?
