Saw on another forum someone saying there's not much difference between the Korean Cort made Grecos and the Japanese fujigen made ones.

Has anyone had experience with both? I've always thought they were the low end budget type guitar and from what I've seen hex key type truss rods, basswood bodies, scarf joints cheap hardware etc.

I've had a few basswood body guitars and it is a tone wood so that's not a deal breaker, just softer and more easily dented than mahogany, and hardware can always be changed. Saw one sold the other day for 5,000 yen which didn't look too bad and plenty sell in the 10,000-15,000 range if they've as well made as the fuji ones I might just pull the plug.
