SE-800 Super Real - Where have you been all my life?

I managed to find "the one" strat that feels and plays like it should, not 10 minutes from here by car. I was able to go down right away and try it out at the store.

The store has about 20 high-end Fenders and this one had the biggest neck of all. Love the pickups too.

I had mine out the other night and saw the middle p`up had been changed to something with ceramic magnets, never really looked closely before...I prefer spending more time playing my guitars than taking dissecting them.

I saw that pair, very nice and if they are like mine amazing strats.
Do they all have the super fat neck?

As I understand and in talking with Ryan specifically about that, yes they all have the big necks

Both of mine have massive V necks. Enjoy your new Super Real!

I am still really stoked on the se800 I bought from RyanC. Such a great playing and sounding guitar. Thanks man! I did change the pickups to 80s Tokai to brighten things up a bit...but I'm definitely hanging onto the stock pu's. Out of boredom I started a little blog about gear and have some stuff about my se800 and eg900. I just started it and it sort of sucks so far...so don't bash too hard, I know it's dorky
