It's more than I would want to pay but it seems prices on the higher end guitars just keep on climbing.

An LS-80 went for almost 160k yen a week or two ago.

I will say that the Greco did have a wonderful flame to it:

But still, that is almost EGF 1200 price range right there...and no Dry Zs either

I was going to bid on it, but once it got passed 110,000 I was out.
It ended up a bidding war between two bidders that shot it up to 150,000 yen.
Either way it is worth it to the buyer, cause they will only go up in value, and that one looks in mint condition, and with a nice top!

Too expensive...
U'd find a cheaper one in Europe easily.

Right... Show me where another one with that burst, flame, weight, condition, etc. is for sale, and I'll jump right on it.

I sold one just 2 weeks ago for 1000?.
It weighed 3.9kg.
It is more flamey than the one for 150k-yen.

Nice piece.
The flames look more like a EGF850 than an EGF1000 (refering to our private discussion regarding Super Real).
Could it be that Tokai and Fujigen bought wood from the same place :D

Here is my 850 flame top, so is there a big difference in flameage between the 850 and 1000?
