Strange Headstock, which Model is it?

Hey,

just got an offer for a Greco Les Paul Custom.
The guy sent me pictures but i have never seen a headstock like this before. He says that this on is a 1982 Model, Serial No. 28527
It has a long neck tenon and original PU's. That's all he can tell...not that much

Can you guys tell me more?

it's really urgent!

does anybody know the diamond inlay? searched the web, haven't seen ONE other greco with this inlay! really need held with that.
don't have any further pictures...

It almost looks like an SS insignia

Hope he didn't take offense - didn't see that he lived in Germany, home of everyone's favorite Tokai dealer.

But yeah, the SS insignia first came to mind. I don't think that that's what Greco had in mind though.
