i was thinking about how many greco guitars they were make each month in 1980 ( i am talking about greco strats models ) ,,,,

Good Luck with that one :wink: maybe someday, someone who was actually there at the time, can shed some light on the whole "lawsuit" era of Japanese guitars..
 
The serial numbers could provide some info. You'd need to log thousands though to figure out the patterns and stuff.

yes i know it was a lot ,,,, but the highest number i have seen so far i 1873 ..
like E801873 ... and i dont think they made 9999 strats model each month :D :D :D :D :D :D
and i am a bit surprice about this ,,,,,, i did belive someone new how many guitar fujigen did make each month :D :D

From their own website........

In the early 80's many famous brands had their production outsourced to so called OEMs (Origiinal Equipment Manufactures).

FUJIGEN was a top OEM with great experience
and production capacity.
Our monthly output raised up to 14000 electric guitars. This was world leadership.

.....but that was with the CNC machines which were used from 1981
