washburn wing series

many years ago my mate had a washburn eagle
as i remember it was the best guitar i've ever played
anyway a few keep coming up on ebay mainly the hawk and falcon for around the ?400-?550 mark
are they as good as i remember ?
anyone had any experienceof this range ?

Yes they are - IMO, I recently sold my '79 Falcon to fellow TR member. Very underrated in every respect. Fantastic build quality if a little on the heavy side. Great value for money!

i own one ,,,,, got it dirt cheap ,,,,,, it needs new frets ,,, but very very good quality ,,,,, very good

,,,, it came with out tuners and pickups ...
so i am looking for that ,,, but they are great ,,, :lol: :lol:
