I currently own a Tokai Reborn LS60 which Ive grown to love after a few initial teething problems (microphonic pups, collapsed bridge, poor frets etc). I now fancy another Jap LP to go with the Tokai but particularly want a 2 pick up Custom. Does anyone know if Tokai offered an Black LP Custom from the late 70s early 80s era?
Failing that Ive heard good things about Orville by Gibson (long tennon joints, top quality woods etc) - Anyone had any experience of these? Are the specifications fact or fiction? Any advice gratefully received.
