Im looking at an es100r, and thanks to this site ive found out it was born the same year as me 1981!
how much is it worth, its mint, cherry and comes with a case.
I was very disapointed with the gibson 335 i tried, could this tokai be a good buy?

hi sax rock
whether it is a good buy would determine on how nice an original '59 335 dot-neck is.
There were quite a few of these imported into Australia and we had players with 60's and later 335s all prefering the feel, sound and playability of the Tokai over the Gibson.
If you don't buy you will always be left wondering.....

saxrock, I would go for it.

3 months ago, there ended an auction, at Ebay Germany, for the same guitar in nature finish, at Euro 1550

Used to own a 81' ES100J (see pictures on main sight) but sold it to a member a few months back.

Great guitar that kicked the new ones in the teeth.

enjoy
