my first tokai...s

i finally got my first tokai...well i actually fot two since my bid got hit on ebay unexpectedly...

anyway one of em will go to a friend who was looking for a fender strat...hehe

these are the first pics, will post more when i get they arrive!

thanks to ned, ian, hans and all involved in the site which has been of great help to avoid rip offs (hopefully) anyway here u go, let me know what u think, and if u reckon these aint for real, please LET ME KNOW TOO!

forgot, the natural one is a 79 springy, anfd the sunburst, an 81 silver star...

Hi Chu71 ? congratulations on getting both guitars... two nice early examples 8) .

Silverstar looks fine from that photo, but can?t see detail like pickups, saddles etc.

The ST55 Springy is the more interesting one for me (personal opinion), but unfortunately I can?t get your link to work ? really like to see a bigger pic of that? Was it on eBay? There were a couple of natural Springy's on eBay last week ? maybe you have a link to any eBay advert? :-?

"Any thoughts?" ... yeah I think they both look spot on,... see no probs at all 8) .

The natural ash springy is gorgeous

. Seller doesn?t mention or show saddles specifically, but in one shot you can just read stamp ?Tokai? ? that?s correct for a 79 Springy ? later models & Goldstars stamped ?Final Prospec? instead. Tuner housing should be stamped ?Tokai? as well (later ones ?Deluxe?) ? looks perfect & very desirable original 79 Springy to me ? congrats, I?m jealous :wink: .

I?m not so well up on Silverstars, but again it looks spot on for original 81 ? very nice guitar at a great price ? that seller also well known for straight & honest dealing.

I?d say you scored 10/10 there

so i thought, that s cool
well the sstar was up on ebay, i was surprised how cheap it came...i was thinking of fitting a white pearl pguard, , or a red tortoise, anyway that will prob go to a friend as soon as he puts the money together...

the natural 79 was pricey but hey for the prices of brand new guitars in europe...it just cant be beat

i always thought fenders were so overproced, now im finally gonna eb able to prove it...
