Hi there, I am trying to find out what paint finish is used on my guitar. I've dates it before and it's a 1984 breeysound Tele with black pickguard and a blonde finish. Can't find a description of the actual paint used. I want to take off the finish and paint on to the wood. Sort of an arty design, ala hendrix etc. Any advice on how to paint a guitar also welcome. Main thing is to find out what paint is on the guitar first. So I can find out the best way to take off the finish down to the wood. Thanks
