Anybody know what colour this is ?

It's listed as tortoise shell mahogany with a TM finish code in catalogs,
and was only offered on TE-60 models.

yeah got it on e bay on sunday, cool its a te60 as guy had it listed as te50.

I have one exactly like it, since it's 1985, it's technically a TTE-60 TM.
It's one of the few all-original guitars I've actually modded (non-destructively). The pickups were not to my taste, sort of exaggerated Tele, extremely icepicky. The 1 meg pots didn't help either. Now, it has a set of Fender Twisted Teles (good name!)and new electronics and it's an excellent, solid, great-playing rock guitar. Swapped the pickguard for a white one too, fort a more classic Tele Custom look.
