I don't know anything about these other than it looks like "The Strat" from the 80s.





Can someone fill in some info? Looks like nitro finish? What pickups? What year built?





Neck plate and serial on headstock are different??



 
I think if you do a search here you will find some good info...I have one similar and remember there was good discusion when I posted mine some time ago. For starters, I think the model is actuall SS-70 and it was Tokai's version of "THE STRAT".....Interesting that yours has both a serial number on the headstock and the neck plate. Colors available were MR..LB..OW..RR..

Beautiful guitar,good luck with the sale.
It's listed in the spring 82 catalog [JOE WALSH] as a SS-70 LIMITED EDITION. Not sure why . I have the catalog and can try and scan if you like

Here's the catalog page...not sure why they call it a "ss"..headstock is neither a springy or a silverstar.someone suggested in the past maybe "special strat"

 
No problem Udo.....Mine is a 1981. I can't say they were ever in a prior catalog.I have seen them both with the 'T' knobs and the plain brass as is on mine. I wonder if production date determined this??
A set of T knobs just sold on yahoo this week....I should have bought them :-?

Turns out yep very similar it's the same guitar 🤟🏼

Jeez!!!...............I was in Victoria back in June !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
