Anyone can share some light on these please. Thank you.

i know this post is pretty old, but i posted something similar.
I've collected Hondo guitars for a couple of years. One of the things I like is that they are so mysterious! the history of Hondo is very sketchy and often incorrect.
as far as i can tell, and what i've read from legitimate sources; YES .
the nicer Hondo guitars are Tokai made in Japan. It appears that any that were made in Japan were Tokai. and any that have stock Dimarzio pickups are Tokai.
Im not positive, but most if not all Tokai Hondo's were Hondo II. but i have suspected some Hondo (first generation) of being MIJ-T also. It may also be the case that all the Revival series are Tokai, but I have not seen enough of them to verify that fact

I also am led to believe that all the neck-thru or faux neck through (set neck with shaved heel) are tokai

if anyone wants to sell or trade any Hondo guitars, please let me know!
