Dont often see these, WR LC-100, covers have been removed, could be original pups, which i think were Tokai 57's on these models.

Isn't the fret board should have been ebony?

If a real deal LC-100 will have Ebony fretboard, binding, 1 piece mahogany back, 1 piece mahogany top ?( i think )
Get better pics from the seller....to be certain,
Headstock inlay.... i remember was a diamond shape and the type pictured, but I am sure LC-100 had both types through the early years or 1981/82?...and is Japan made.

Marcusnieman where are you. I need your experience/ knowledge on this one...

Been out of town with no computer......

Certainly not a Korean model...... as the guys have answered, looks like a legit LC model. But I still can't get past the headstock inlays - I don't recall ever seeing the two separate motifs before.... might have to have a peek at the catalogs

Here's the 81 LC page..... no headstock emblems:

I have seen an ES 335 model with the same headstock, it was an ES-100 model of 1980 (on ebay).
I was believing that they were models made for US market only, but I'm not sure of that.
