I'm so glad to have found this place. I have learned so much about Tokai guitars in the last few days, so thanks to everyone. It has "Les Paul Reborn" on the headstock, I believe it's all original (minus upgraded aluminum tailpiece), and includes the original Tokai hardshell case. Serial number is 8001XXX.
It's in transit from Japan as we speak, so these are the seller's pics from the auction itself. I would love to hear if you guys think I paid a fair price? It seems really clean, and I specifically wanted a '78 with LP on the headstock. The grain itself is really nice and has some subtle flaming up the left side.

Nice!! You'll love it. Better than a Gibson and way, way cheaper.
