It looks like the buyer protection program is only up to $200---unless I'm reading paypal's thing wrong----MIST---well I'll figure something out---

The fact that this guitar is a fake isn't great news, but considering some of the other things that have happened to me lately, I'll just be thankful that it's only money--nobody died or got hurt....

Vielen Dank f?r Ihren Rat; ich f?hle mich ein bi?chen doof, da? ich diese Gitarre so impulsiv gekauft habe, aber irgendwie m?? das Leben weiter gehen.

That actually looks similar to one of those fake Gibsons from China with the heavy imprinted serial numbers and mis-aligned vol/tone knobs.

You could always try a polite email to the seller explaining the situation. He MIGHT be genuine and offer you a refund. Got to be worth a try!

You must ask beore buying wolfgang.
Gottfried is right regarding serial number engraved, not japanese Tokai for sure.
Regarding korean I?ve never seen that serial number in a korean Tokai too.
The seller claims to be ...custom Tokai!!!! ,another special, rare, great Tokai! :o
All in this guitar seems very lousy...get a refund!

wolfgang, I suggest that you go through ebay straight on. ebay has been through some rough times recently.

since a few weeks they became helpful. obviously they found out what the rest of the planet thinks about them....

I still have to get used to that.

cheers. rupert

Wow! That's amazing news! Mind you, there was scope for improvement... :o

I wonder if any of the feedback questionnaires I completed helped to convince them that they had to change? It's a nice thought.

So far the seller seems to be ignoring my emails--so I guess I'll see if a formal complaint to ebay helps---

Thanks again everyone

Hi guys, i'm new to this forum!

I' d like some help with the identification of this Tokai Love Rock...

The guitar has no s/n, the owner doesn't claim anything, but suggests that he has been through many Les Pauls and that this one plays great!

What do you think?

Thanks in advance!
