Hi ..Thanks in advance for any help on this one Is this a LS75 or a GT48 or another model ? I have just purchased this MIK GoldTop here in Toronto Canada (single screw in the truss rod cover).I picked this puppy up from a very reputable music store here in T.O (last one in the whole store) I LoVE this Girl , anyway i am not sure which one i have ? I know that Canadian Tokai models are spec'd differently (wood etc). There is nothing on the back identifying it's model and the guitar is so new i don't want to take it apart just yet to look under the pick-up's. Also ...What would does this guitar appear to be made from Mahogony ? Alder ? Agathis ?? I paid $549.00cdn for this one and regardless it sounds and plays great . Just a little curious as to how decent a deal i got on it ?

Here is a few pic's of my GT... Any info would greatly bveappreciated ...Thanks.

So I take it there's no serial number either?
Tends to be common on MiK.
I've only seen MiK goldtops with P90's...it might be an ALS75

Hi space_114, fellow Torontonian here. That's a nice looking Gold Top. sorry I can't help you with your question but if you don't mind me asking did you get it from Steve's? I've got a nice quilted top Tokai Love Rock that was sent over to me from Japan. You can see the photos of it in this thread: http://www.tokaiforum.com/viewtopic.php?t=8595

Its one of our old Canadian market NALS-48 model gold tops. You got a good deal on that one especially since it was new and they are no longer made for or sold in Canada. Mahogany body, maple top and rock maple neck and it should have a serial # on the back of the headstock as all of ours did.

Thanks for the info ....I REALLY appreciate it ...It is a fantastic guitar. I just was not sure what wood that was ? Thanks Again .
