I just bought a Breezysound from a guy from the UK and I'm not sure about the model and year of manufacture. It is an export model with no serial number, no marking on the bridge. The owner installed a Seymour Duncan Hotrails in the bridge position, but I have the original pickup from him and will install it again. Besides one chip on the back (transport damage??????) it is in an excellent condition. Quite thick neck, frets are good.

Hey Kaze
I thought or is it a Springy next

Maybe, if I win some money in the lottery..!
I won't go to Gomera in June (or Madeira) because of these purchases (Love Rock, Breezy and some little nice stuff..) and wil spend holidays in Germany
My guitar teacher already says I'm crazy, he plays a Bach and a Keiper guitar and is happy...

Have you got a new ST?????????????

Besides, how do I change bridge pickup in a tele?? Remember, I'm female... :D

Hi kaze, hi rossi!

If you play my "new" '80 ST-80 I'll ship it FOC.

However, you have to invite me to the gig and I'll take it back afterwards.
And I might bring along some other thinggies...

You're doing it again!!! BAD BOY!!
but good trick, I just d a second...
And I thought, you know something about Tokais, ts, ts......

Hi Kaze!

I guess the C-6 actually should read 9-9. This defines some manufacturing date. I am not completely sure, but could be 9th of September or along those lines. It definitely is a VERY nice neck, with very even pattern.

Because of the post-lawsuit headstock and the "Made in Japan" imprint I'd suspect it is an export model. It also has this very nice binding, so it's not a low-end model. Is this a 3-part body?

It looks similar to the one I just got from ebay, which is an ATE-70.

Cheers. Rupert

Hello Kaze
It is a C & 6 and it is a nice guitar and it has binding, like i said before its a higher end model and an export
As for the numbers i dont know 100% so i will let the people who know more than me (everyone else) :p tell you.
Have you found that Springy yet

Yes, looks exactly the same, and mine is from the UK, too. It has 3 pieces of alder and the neck is in a great condition. After taking the Tele to pieces and back again, I think sustain an resonance is even better than before, I can feel it. Don't know why, maybe the neck is fitting better now.

Hi Kaze

Nice looking Breezysound

I've got the the Rosewood neck version, double bound and Tobacco Sunburst - great guitar.

Yours, like mine looks very recent so I'd put it at no older than 2000. They were available until last year through Tokai UK with the model of ATE-55.

I've changed the bridge saddles on mine to compensated brass barrel version. This solves any intonation problems, increases tone and sustain.

The only let down on this guitar is the pickups - they are tame and have lots of treble.

My advice would be to hold on putting the original pickups back. Sell the SD Hotrails on Ebay and buy some Boutique Tele Pickups from www.leosounds.de

The Mudcats are Fantastic and at 99Euro for the pair very reasonably priced.

I've had those in mine and only recenlty changed the Bridge pickups to a Bare Knuckle Piledriver - Insane output on this one !!

It all depends on what tone your trying to achieve from your breezy ??

Regards

Chris

That's funny, I have a set of Mudcats here (new), but with gold neck pickup. Can I change this???

I wouldn't try to do that myself personally, as it's very easy to break the windings.

Drop Michael Pantleon an email at leosounds and he'll do it for a nominal fee or exchange it I'm sure.
