best strat copy?

gold star? silverstar?

i've heard many good things about the silver star...

what do the people say about the gold star?

I like Goldstars or springy because I love Strats with pre CBS specs.
Silverstars if I remember are copies of '70 strats (big headstock, non kluson tuners).

which ones are the 57 copies?

In most cases, copies of '57 are Tokai Springy Sound.
Most of Goldstar are copies of '64 (like mine).
But like in all things there are exceptions... :wink:
