That's gorgeous! I want one!

How much does this cost? Is it supposed to be a vintage Tokai or still in production?

The Tokai ES range are just fabulous guitars. Everybody should have one.

Yep, I agree.
Here a ES135 (block inlays) in Teaburst. Tokais Teaburst is similar to its brown sunburst. But the burst of Teaburst is much smaller, smoother and more faded than the brown sunburst.

Nice model love the colour really gives it a real old vibe about it out of interest what amp do you play through?Thinking of up grading amp as my next project.

Hi royboy,

Nice Guitar

I've just got one very similar to yours. Can you tell me if your has the label inside the F hole and if you've looked to see what pickups are fitted?

Dave

Hi Dave yes it has got a red label on the inside of the F hole stating ES155 VNT as for the pick ups I have not checked them.
Regards

Perhaps a silly question, but what's with the dark streaks in the body of these ES models, as in the pics Togps posted? Just wondering...

Jason,

If I remember well, they are called 'mineral flecks' ... something what is not unusual inside the wood ...

Look at my '85 LS150 ...
