Hi all,

New to the registry but I bought my first Tokai in '84 (I think!) which I believe is a TST40. This has been my only electric until recently I added two more in quick succession - RG43 and RG40.(both Ebay).

Quick question as I'm no techie...........

What strings would you suggest for the Ri%@~*er replicas?
Nothing too pricey as this as these guitars only get played "home alone".

BTW for those in the UK I bought the TST40 in Southend on Sea from a shop called Monkey Business - it's still got their sticker on the headstock!

Cheers,

Steve

I like the 11's on all my electrics
Gibson LP Jr
Fender Strat 57 RI

LOTS more output, bends( with the help of other fingers) are more controlled
Ie if you bend a string at 12'th fret (any string) with your 3'rd finger, support that bend with your 2'nd & 1'st finger, at the same string, just behind your 3'rd finger, amazing feel, bend it until tomorrow comes, so strong!!

Hi Guys,

Thanks for the replies - Southend on Sea to Woolongong. Great name for a town - Southend that is! javascript:emoticon(':D')

Anyway the "Rickenbacker's" (can we say that!) - what make of strings does anyone suggest?

More rambling on........

I now play my guitars through a Vox Escort practice amp - looks just like a mini AC30 , sold my Fender Twin to my brother when I emigrated to Canada a few years back -ouch!

Or I play through my computer, anyone know any good multitrack software - must be free of course.

Cheers,

Steve
