Korean models normally don't have a stamped serial number which could be used to find out the year. So you would have to look at the visible specifications of a guitar to estimate when it was built.

The pickups probably are PAF-Vintage MK4 if it's a newer model, and the wood probably is alder or agathis for the back, and maple for the top and neck.

From this picture it seems to be an older model though because of the truss rod cover, but this could have been changed by a former user, too. Anyhow, these metallic finished Love Rocks were once built with plywood bodies if I remember correctly. Nowadays they use agathis for the body (ALS48M with set neck, ALS40M with bolt-on neck, no maple top), but before 2003 those and other colored ones didn't. Check the catalogs on the main site to be sure.

It appears that the specs for the MIK Love Rocks varies in differenct countries. In Canada they have a hard rock maple neck, rosewood fretboard, solid mahogany body and maple top (not veneer). Neck profile, I believe is in between 59 chuncky and 60s slim taper.

Here's one site in Canada (JSD also frequents this forum)

Just to correct you on that one, the flame tops are a very nice quality real wood veneer (no photo tops) on top of a mape cap.
