is there any real quality difference in the Goldstar Sounds made right after the headstock change? I've been looking at a few pictures, and it looks like to me that the headstock could be altered to the regular fender shape with just a bit of cutting. No, I don't plan to buy a post lawsuit, alter it, and resell it, I just noticed how much cheaper post lawsuit Tokai's are, and figured that if the headstock IS the only real difference, and it can be changed, that I might go that route. (I was planning on putting on a fender decal too so I don't get asked what a Tokai is.)

I know I'm just being vain, but what's the story?

Have a look in the archives there is a picture of a Modified Goldstar...looks alright.Phantomlord started the thread.
Nothing wrong in being vain! 8)

Part of the fun of owning a Tokai is being asked what it is (IMHO), even more fun when it blows away a Gibbo owner !!
