I am looking to make my first Tokai purchase, being a 335 model.
I was hoping someone could shed light on the recent models, and one what is the most "high spec". Higher numerical model value = better?
The ES198 is very nice, with block inlays and a flamed arch top. I am just curious why the ES224 is more expensive. The only major construction difference I can see when looking at the specs is that it has a "Lacquer Finish" mentioned.
Is the Lacquer Finish what makes the 224 more expensive? Does the Lacquer Finish add more sonic and aesthetic value? Opinions please
