Hi I’m helping a friend move on his sons Tokai SG.
I’m fairly sure if I could get my hands on the guitar the model no would be in the pickup cavities? But we are in lockdown and my mate couldn’t remove a pickup to save himself!
So. Serial number is 064372

Ok, I’ll get the owner to send more pics, what areas would be best to highlight for identification?

Front of headstock and lower down rear of headstock, the pickup cavities and pot cavities.
Just been reading on some other sites that mik have a single letter before the ser# and chinese have two, 6 digit and no letter is a chinese fake!

Real Korean Tokai Love Rocks/gibson clones have no serial number.

Yours is a real Made in China Tokai for the UK and other export places where the Gibson open book headstock is not allowed. The serial numbers font and style have changed for the Chinese ones over the years.
