Been thinking a bit more about the finishes on some of the Tokais I have.
The one that has me pondering most is the blue quilted one - similar to the LR105Q in the link brokentoes kindly posted below:
I haven't been able to determine for sure whether the quilted finish is actually a solid piece of maple or a pretty veneer. I suspect the latter - but am still holding out a little bit of hope I'm wrong
Can anybody give me a definitive answer or even a steer before I start having to remove strings and pickups ?
