Identifying a Tokai LS

Post by Nickname_pending » Mon Dec 28, 2015 4:36 pm

I've been offered a Tokai LS guitar, but seller doesn't know which model it is. The serialnumber begins with 00108XX. From the research I've done, I believe it might be from 1980, or?

How can I find out what model it is?

Thanks in advance!

Here are some pictures of the guitar that seller sent me:

Hopefully you guys can help me identify this model, and year of manufacture.

Thanks in advance!

Japanese-made plaintop model for certain, but we need decent pics of the headstock.

Added a pic of the headstock.

Seller just informed me that it has a sticker on the back of the headstock that says 80, so I guess that makes it an LS80.

He says it is in very good condition, and he wants approx. £395 for it, including the case it comes with. Would that be a reasonable price to pay for it (given the fact that it is in good condition)?

Bite his hand off. Then bite his arm off too.

Are you still here?? Go! Go! Go!
