Just bought this ES110 locally. It has a "Kai Eastern" logo at the back of the headstock. Serial no. is stamped on the inside of the f-hole.

I am quite sure it's a poly finished guitar. Too bad it does not come with a case but the guitar plays beautifully with a great 59 round neck and lovely sweet tone from the pickups.

Can anyone tell me more about the year and the spec on this beauty?

Beautiful guitar.

2007 model, plaintop, colour is Tea Burst.
Poly, MK11 pickups, Gotoh tuners and bridge, MIJ toggle switch.

ES110 became ES135, then ES138, now it's a ES156.

These guitars are magical.

I don't think a 2007 ES 110 is now an ES 156, a 50% increase over 9 years!
Rather an ES 135 now

Nope, it's a ES156 now, Catalog 28.

The change in model number does not always indicate the increase in price to the distributors/dealers.
In 2009 it was a ES110, then it became a ES135, then ES138, in 2015 it's a ES156.
From 2010 to 2015 the increase in price to distributors has been exactly 10%...I know, I just ordered them last week.

The ES 156 has a lacquer finish

Some current catalogs unless they are out of date

Contacted Kai Eastern which is based in taiwan. Apparently these were special "vintage" spec orders back then. The model has graduated to ES156 in current production.

No wonder the neck is comparable to the neck on my R9. Love it!

Here's the logo.

Here's one of my 2014 versions of the same model.

And the MIC ES60 Version.

I get the LS165S and LS98/113S...the one in the photo is a LS98/113S model.

LS165 is regular Premium Series specs, one piece body, aluminium tailpiece, brass saddles, CTS pots, nitro, MK1 "Old" P90s, etc.
LS98S is regular Vintage Series specs, 2 piece body, regular ABR-1 bridge, MIJ pots, Poly, MK2 "Old" P90s.
I order the LS98/113S with MK1 pickups and Jumbo frets, perfect.
