Nice looker!

Just out of personal interest: Does it have 1M Ohm pots ?

The following information has been copy/pasted by me from here http://www.tokaiforum.com/viewtopic.php?t=19554&highlight=breezysound+decal

"Try looking on ebay for a replacement decal from seller:-

plankspanker101

Get in touch with him using the contact button, he's got them all !!
"

Best Regards,

Yes agreed its a great guitar but still looks like a pair of my daughters pyjamas

But you can't play with your daughters pyjamas, you'll get arrested. :D :D :D

I can't wait to hear myself. Here is my Tokai and an original 1969 Fender Paisley Red Telecaster for comparison.

The imprint on the liner on the top half of that case appears to show there has been a Flying "V" housed in there before.

Great looking Tele, btw.

Thanks! Wow,I never noticed that before. It's a Fender case. My Fernandes strat came in that case. The Tele just came with a gigbag. Guess who live's in the gigbag now?Well, only till I can get another case.

It looks like the Breezy Sound decals were just applied on top of the clearcoat. The one on my guitar must fell off or got peeled off.

You know,The reason I am so thrilled to have this guitar is that for the last 5 years every week or so,I would go to Ebay and search "Tokai Paisley tele". In all that time I have only seen 2 ,mine and the one below.I posted about this guitar in the Japanaxe forum on Dec 21, 2008:

Wow! 1985 ATE `67 Tokai Paisley Telecaster, closest to a real one I have ever seen this one sold for $1425 on Ebay last week. From the ad:

"Here`s a 1985 ATE `67 Tokai Paisley Telecaster in excellent condition. I`ve upgraded it with a set of Jake Jones Vintage Tele pickups (made to nail James Burton`s `52 Tele tone and next to impossible to find) plus the wiring has been changed to `52 specs ( a quick fix if it`s not to your taste) Other details include a bird`s eye maple neck, a Final Pro Spec bridge plate and the back plate # is L 25352.This instrument plays and sounds amazing and the only (minor) issue is three small check lines on the front of the body. I am also including a servicable case plus the original set of Tokai pickups. In addition to the shipping cost will be a $10 fee for professional packing to ensure maximum safety in transit. All in all, this is a great opportunity for any player who wants the most authentic looking, killer sounding paisley without a monster price tag! I welcome any and all questions so please feel free to e-mail me and good luck! "
