All of Tokai's LP copies have the 50's profile.

Thats correct to a degree, Tokai's generally have the 1959 style of neck, the 58 Gibbo's were the fattest then the 59 which was a bit smaller then the 60's style which was thinner again.....Oh and welcome Mark... :)

All I know is that I love the neck profile of my Tokai LS. I have small hands but find a chunkier neck easier to play for some reason, perhaps because I mainly played acoustic for the first couple of years. The neck is sizeable without being too thick.

If I play with a thinner neck I end up clamping the neck too hard and my hand aches.

I do find Tokai necks to be the most comfortable for me. I don't have big hands either. Just like the full round profile.
