I have some serious brain fog too. I was seeing the handwritten code and automatically was thinking of the "S" codes I have seen on some LS65 models. But as you said, it says "CS", not "S", which is the color of course. My bad.

Original single ply pickguard had extra holes drilled in it. I fitted a 3 ply black one looks and plays superb.
I think I put it on the registry in 2008 but have owned it since the mid 90's.

Your guitar actually dates to 1987/88. Check the guitars listed in the first post of this thread. If you have your original pots it should give you a date. Let us know if you have pics of the pots and pickups and production code. That would be very helpful.

This is the 26-fret WB750, an original shape model from Tokai Musical Instruments, a long-established Japanese manufacturer, Tokai.

Archtop ash body, maple neck, rose fingerboard, 26 frets, PU is TOKAI's original L.WHITE pickup JJ layout, 2Vol/Tone passive specification, TOKAI's original bridge is installed by drop-in processing.

Usage (paint peeling off on both sides of the nut, scratches around the head, dents on the elbow, scratches on the horn on the 4th string side, small scratches around the body, scratches and scratches from playing, gloss on the back of the neck and top of the body due to being played), There is some external damage such as cloudiness/bits on metal parts and screws.

It has been set up (cleaning, string replacement, rod adjustment, octave adjustment, string height adjustment, and fret alignment) when it arrived, the fret peaks are at a height that is comfortable for playing, and the truss rod is almost finished and is in a forward-warped state.
