Love the item description. (translated of course)

Product description: A junk item that produced sound from a guitar amplifier. Currently listed. Junk items cannot be returned for any reason. Please use your discretion. Depending on the item, we may put it in cardboard and close it or double wrap it with bubble wrap. If there are any customers who feel uneasy after making a successful bid, we will respond. In that case, please send us a message immediately after making a successful bid

I see guitars like this and just want to clean them. Probably my OCD. Would look nice. It’s under $200 at the moment.

OCD is when you rather have the guitar out of tune than the pegs misaligned. What we have here is just basic hygiene and maintenance standards violated to a degree that make me believe the seller is not hoping for selling it in Japan anyway. :D

I see this a lot with Japanese guitars. I wonder if there is a cultural belief that it seems like a better deal to the buyer if it is dirty, or if that is a job best left to the buyer?

There is a huge market in Japan right now for their own domestic vintage instruments.

There are also Japanese videos showing someone going through dirty Japanese guitars and taking them apart screw by screw, springs, etc and deep cleaning them.

I dunno. It's a sleeper.
