Help with determining guitar

To be clear I have no idea when it comes to guitars but I'm wondering if anyone can identify this guitar (and whether it is a legitimate Tokai branded one). It was my dads and believes he got it in the 1970s. Just looking up Tokai 1970s guitars doesn't provide many images to work with aha
