I found this in excellent condition for my son to learn on. There is no serial number though it has a 3 screw neck plate, truss adjustment at the head, with no truss rod cover. It has a nice finish in Olympic White with black guard, black PU covers, and rosewood neck. There is no visible serial number, only a sticker an the base of the neck with '38' printed. Any clue where to look for these? I sounds pretty good, and is easy to play.

It sounds like an SS38 in the Custom Edition line. They didn’t have serial numbers unless it’s on the tremolo compartment cover.
