Hard Puncher Date?

I have a Hard Puncher with the serial on the neckplate (108***). From my research it is a 1984..
It has the 1984-style logo (not spaghetti).
It sounds amazing and competes with my 1965 Precision.

1xxxxx serial numbers for Hard Punchers began in 1982 and ran until the spring of 1986.

The script logo began in 1983. Possibly as early as late 1982 in some markets.

I would say your serial number is late 1983 or 1984 as you thought.
