Gotta say the more I look at any Japan made Tokai the more I stop playing my other guitars and pick up my Silver Star! For anyone who loves guitars and stumbles into this forum do yourself a big favour and pick up a Tokai - they are gold!

Love those black Silver Stars from 82 - great players even after 30+ years. I found min need to have a new nut - [done to 2.6mm from bottom of all strings and following the fret board/fret curve... and found that to be perfect - first fret not going out of tune and whole guitar not buzzing...
