Looks like Fender Squier JV pots and pickups which are USA made, M250 code on pots, probably pickguard too, does it have DM30 sticker on the switch? , it may have been changed though

Hi the fender one needed a hole drilling, i wouldnt have done this had it been a minter.

Cheers,I know relicing is a matter of taste but a "as new " body with old and naturally aged hardware just does not look right.

And finally after flatting with 1200 then 2000 wet and dry then buffing sorry about my toe The mild relicing is to match the neck and hardware , the pickguard and rear cover are Fender parchment, the pickups are Custom Shop 54s which sound sweet. I have a few mint tokais so a mild reliced...

Hi beetleing, Very nice restoration so far. I look forward to seeing the finished product. The body wood is Alder so it will take the finish very well. With the rosewood neck and Sonic Blue paint, I would go with Parchment plastic as it really keeps it with the vintage vibe I just completed...

Thanks i appreciate it, Colour coat time, so i decided on sonic blue in the end it has now had 2 clear coats I will now leave it for a month to harden before flatting and polishing, the colour looks a bit off in the pics but its classic sonic blue in life.
