WTB: Edwards Les Paul Custom Ace Frehley (or other Japanese brand)

Hello! I am currently looking for an Edwards Les Paul Custom Ace Frehley model. I prefer this one due to the spec correct ebony fretboard. However, I will consider other Japanese brands, as long as it is a 3 pickup Cherry burst custom Les Paul. Shipping only within EU, please. No need to pay...

Please help me IDing this LP Custom

Ciao, Johnnyl That looks like a generic Chinese Les Paul copy with a very bad attempt to make the headstock look like a Gibson. I wouldn't waste any time on that one.

NGD: Burny LC 75RR - Help with year, please

Hi there, Got this beauty yesterday and was wondering if it is a 1995 (serial in bridge cavity starts with 5). Also wondering if the model name with marker may have been done outside the factory. Alledgedly a Randy Rhoads model. Pickguard seems to have been lost ages ago. This one has a nice...

    How Heavy is Heavy?

FWIW, I own a 1989 3PU Custom Burny weighing around 6 KG (all mahogany). Needless to say I only play it at home and sitting down. I would trade it for a lighther one but I never actually go ahead and place the ad because it has the sweetest and fatest tone (as well as the longest sustain) of all...

would you buy a guitar which has had a broken neck

I agree with Lucke. Just for the principle and to avoid additional hidden flaws, don't buy it. I have a Gib SG 61 reissue which I bought with a neck repair, but the seller told me about it and I even knew the luthier who did the job. No problem to date and I got it for a fair price. My point...

    Is this an LS-100F?

Hello! I am considering getting this Tokai. We are still emailing pics back and forth. Seller claims it is a Tokai LS 100F. However, I am puzzled by the lack of pickguard and factory holes for it. Does anyone have a clue? I would be receiving it (plus some cash) in exchange for my Gibson Classic...

Any such thing as a Japanese Epiphone Lucille?

Yup, the sticker is quite obvious, but since the guy insists and seems to be convinced that it is a Japanese guitar, I needed to check it with the experts. I found it very strange as well. Thank you for the confirmation.

Any such thing as a Japanese Epiphone Lucille?

I have these terrible pics for now. Owner will be sending me something better today. I know there is a "Made in Korea" sticker above the serial, but the owner claims the GP is for Terada. Supposedly, Terada made a small batch of Lucilles when production was transferred from Korea to China. Of...

Any such thing as a Japanese Epiphone Lucille?

Hi there, experts! I am being offered a "Japanese Epiphone Lucille" allegedly from the Terada factory as a part trade for a Gibson. I cannot find any info on any Lucilles being made by Epiphone in Japan. Any clues? The seller says that very few were made there (if any, might I add). Still no...

Strange truss rod on 1990 Orville LPC-75

Hi there, I know this is a very old thread, but... Did you ever get an answer to your question? I have the same issue with a 1991 Orville Custom ("K" serial). The truss rod is a normal "allen wrench" type.
