Agreed. Except Reverb won't allow me to use "335" or even "ES" in my listing title. Pointing out that ES was actually the model designation was not well received by Reverb either...ha ha!

I've only seen one or two other examples of these semi-hollows elsewhere with "Love Rock" (instead of a flowerpot) on the headstock. I read somewhere that Tokai built a small number of them. I inspected it quite closely under natural light and simply could not find a centre seam. No evidence of one in the neck pocket or trem cavity either. I also wanted to point something out, the following chart I found on this site led to my initial confusion here as it indicates the lowest model...

Ok, I did the "acetone test" and....nothing! Tried both the neck heel and trem cavity and same results. I then tried it on the back of a parts neck I had laying around, which was known to be nitro finished, and...voila! The result was immediate and the difference was obvious so I think it's fair...
