    New Tokai LC85S Binding

Skydog, Thanks for your constructive comments, I think we've already established that I was being picky. I bought the Tokai because that was what I wanted and I was merely trying to establish if my guitar finish was similar to other Tokais at this price point - mission accomplished

    New Tokai LC85S Binding

Diamond, are you trying to trick me there  I'm guessing you're expecting me to say it didn't need a set up (it didn't) But I know exactly what he'd say 'Nice guitar but finishing is sloppy' admittedly he has very high standards but he has been building guitars from scratch since the...

    New Tokai LC85S Binding

Cheers for the feedback and your right I probably am being picky, the bit about the headstock is that the binding doesn't follow the profile of the headstock wood it drops down below by about 1mm in the middle. Take your point about Gibsons but to be honest that was one of the reasons (apart...

    New Tokai LC85S Binding

Hi all, Before I get horribly burned in the Tokai flames I would just like to thank all on the Forum who assisted me and pointed me in the right direction for the purchase of my first Tokai. The guitar plays beautifully but I was slightly disappointed with the finish on certain parts of...

Tokai LC made in korea help

No serial number, very honest bloke seemingly, said he copied the specs from a similar guitar on EBAY which he believed to be the same. Set neck, he did say the guitar was very heavy tho which kind of goes against the basswood a little

    UES 135 Thoughts / Help

Hi, Would be interested, price would be dependent on the individual guitar, I'm not sure what a second hand lefty would be worth. But you're right about the shipping plus another ?150 or so import tax would probably make it too expensive to consider. Regards Gary

    UES 135 Thoughts / Help

Hi all, my first post and straight away I'm on the beg. I'm a Lefty and have spent the last couple of months looking at options for a 335 Style guitar ranging from the entry level Epis, Aria etc right through to Heritage and Gibson. I'll just point out at this stage Gibson are probably beyond my...
