Hi folks
Wondered if anyone might be interested before I go to Ebay.
Specs:
Cherry '61 style
VH1 pickups (labels on pickup rings)
Wide and chunky (for an SG) neck with correct headstock angle
Hardware is tarnished - what Gibson would call 'authentic' and charge you extra for
I think...
Anyone remember we were talking about these a while back and nobody had ever seen one...

Well I'm not off to Oz, but a combination of factors (recent acquisitions, the increasing resemblance of my flat to a guitar shop and my settling on my Breezysound as my regular jamming guitar) mean that I'm putting my Love Rock up for sale.
Its an '81 LS-50 in black. All original and in good...
Anyone in the UK fancy swapping their rosewood board Goldstar/Springy for my maple board TST60 Goldstar? Its got the nice V type neck, 2 tone sunburst. Its a lovely guitar but I just don't get on with maple boards. Anyone interested send me a private messgae here or an email.
Cheers
James
My 81 Love Rock's trussrod needs a tweek but I haven't got the right wrench for the job. I'm going to have to order one from Allparts or the like, as every time I ask in a guitar shop if they have any I get told that they have them but not for sale (why the hell not BTW?! ).
Anyway, can...
Take a look at this Breezysound:

Difficult to see as the pics are so small and fuzzy but could it be an all rosewood TTE200? Its got a dark headstock face and back of neck. The seller reckons its an 83. Could just be black paint...
Once again another (sold) beauty from our friends at Retro Bazar:

Its clearly an ST-50, from the stamp on the board, but doesn't that look like an ash body? Presumably it was a sunburst thats been stripped, but even so I didn't think they...
I've been mooching around sites like gaspedal.com and Harmony Central as I fancy getting a decent overdrive pedal. Thing is, there are literally tons of boutique units out there, as well as the usual suspects, to choose from. I'm not looking for massive gain, just light/medium overdrive...

The price is already up to US$500! The magic 'lawsuit' reference works its mojo once again. OK, its rare and looks cool, but its solid state, so surely its not going to sound that great......is it?

Its a Tokai 44 Magnum!
Its old (spaghetti logo)! If you feel lucky (punk) its on ebay now:

Seriously cool looking guitar! Anyone ever seen anything like this before?
James
Spotted an old Breezysound in Andy's on Denmark Street at the weekend. Quite an unusual bright blue with bound edge (looked original). Maple neck with block capitals logo. Condition looked pretty good, but I didn't play it because it was really busy in there. Sorry, don't know the price either...
Why is it that nearly every old Tokai you see advertised nowadays makes this claim?! I've lost count of the number of Goldstar Sounds I've seen advertised that are supposed to be the 'fabled lawsuit model'.
I rang an ad the other day that claimed this, and even said something like 'original 70s...
