The covers aren't soldered on, I'm sure they're just new covers that got stuck on. This Japanese guitar frenzy is nuts. You really need a program to keep up with all the models and variances.

So the newer highend Tokai's don't have fret end binding nubs?

I think that might be one of my old ones, I'll check my pics tonight and see. I've had 3 320's and all sounded and played great.

It's hard to imagine they would put such an ugly finish and fake looking veneer on a LS150 isn't it?

I find BOTB to be most informative. What other book has more info on the Les Paul and what makes it tic? Why the pups are what they are, explanations of the way the wood was cut, imprtance and significance of neck angles, etc.... Actually most of the owners of those guitars have very little...

Novesel, that trashed guitar looked like a late model Korean. Look at the tunematic posts, headstock and neck.

the easiest way to spot a seam on a two piece body is on the bottom edge around the strap pin.

I think the only advantage over a LS320 would be the Tom Holmes which you could sell for $500, but that is offset by the goofy headstock.

My only concern would be shipping that type of guitar with an already damaged neck in a gig bag. Other than that, looks like a great guitar.

Those are real nice guitars. I just wish they'd get a new sheet of laminate to use for the tops. Something a little more interesting looking than the straight stuff. I"m not knocking your new guitar, this stuff is purely a, to each his own thing.
